Pictures 3378 and 3379 show how Stanford's port is accessed. Ann is the nurse in attendance and she accessed the port using a special needle that is pushed through the skin into a membrane in the port. Sterile tape is used to secure the needle and protect the site.

Stanford saw blueberry muffins as we came through the lobby for his appointment and wanted one. He's dunking part of the muffin in milk in picture 3379.

The last picture (3381) is one of Dr. James O'Shea, Stanford's oncologist, that was in the Nashua Telegraph a few months ago. I took a picture of the picture hanging on the wall in the waiting room of the clinic.
